01 About
Vision
The great multitude before God at the eschaton
Mission
The great commission, “go out into all the world to make disciples…”
Goal
Churches are broadly failing to connect with Gen-Z and Millennials, especially via digital ministry. We seek to connect people who are not interested in traditional church expression or whom traditional church expression has failed… especially those who follow God “in spite of the church and not because of the church.” We also hope to provide a model for approaching ministry in “out of the box” ways.
Slogans
“Let your Jesus-freak-flag fly” and “#NotACult”
In-Out-Up
For a ministry to be healthy, it needs to feature a mix of “in,” “out,” and “up” categories of activities.
In: Things meant to help the community grow closer to each other.
Out: Things meant to reach those who are not engaged in with a church.
Up: Things meant to help people grow closer to God and understand him better.

Discipleship Path
Awareness: Awareness is gained through interaction on YouTube, Twitter, and from people sharing.
Engagement: Engagement primarily happens through community interaction on Discord.
Support: Support is ensuring people are still growing in their discipleship journey. Our commitment is primarily to those engaged but we also nudge those who sub and join to move along the pathway.
Development: Development is helping people discover their unique ministry call and fulfilling it. This occurs through mentorship.

02 Personality
Archetypes
CCEH utilizes Jungian story archetypes to help focus the way it communicates with those we desire to reach.
Most ministries are a mix of Everyman, Innocent, and Caregiver. That’s fine, but there are people who identify more with other archetypes and we wish to reach them. As such, we largely avoid communicating as the Everyman, Innocent, or Caregiver.
40% Outlaw/Rebel
40% of voice
The outlaw seeks liberation and to leave a legacy. It does not conform or follow convention “just because.”
Messaging: Messaging should center on the liberation following God brings. The liberation allows for leaving a true legacy that has actual value. We are existentialist/absurdist, symbolic interactionists, and as such value only a faith that is inherently true.
Outlaw examples: Virgin, Diesel, MTV, Richard Branson, Francis Chan.
30% Jester
30% of voice
Humor is not unknown to God. Esther was inspired to be a burlesque and the prophets employ sign-acts in performative prophecy. We embrace comedy in our prophetic call.
Messaging: Incorporate burlesque and absurdist comedic styles. Embrace primitive Christian elements to appear fringe despite being highly orthodox.
Jester examples: Old Spice, Dollar Shave Club, M&M’s, Malcolm in the Middle, Modern Family, The Office, Arrested Development, Birds Aren’t Real.
30% Sage
30% of voice
The Sage is inherently spiritual, it explores the Christian faith through knowledge and understanding.
Messaging: Messaging should focus on the mystery of the gospel, the grandness of God within the cosmological order, it should be intellectual amid its total embrace of an unapologetically supernatural worldview.
Sage examples: BBC, Oprah, Simon Sinek, Michael Heiser, Faithlife/Logos, Timothy Keller.
Voice
Playful & Irreverent
We say stuff that’s fun, cheeky, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. We aren’t afraid to laugh at ourselves. We stay in character as a church that says things from ancient Christian orthodoxy that makes us sound a bit odd while acting like we are oblivious to how odd it sounds. At times we take a swings at the cultural zeitgeist. We avoid modern “Christianese” when possible.
Say this ✅
Are you still on “the path?”
We are #NotACult but we do provide a new family.
We follow the science… also, we are the science.
Let your Jesus-Freak flag fly.
Not this 🚫
Greetings brother. 🤮
Have you made Jesus Christ your personal savior? 🙄
Radical & Innovative
Following Christ is inherently countercultural. We always choose “the narrow road” despite it being unpopular. We believe in radical sacrifice, radical devotion, and radical discipleship. We believe God calls us to action.
Say this ✅
Never give up on doing good.
Take up your freak flag and follow God.
With a little creativity and determination, we can do anything God calls us to.
Not this 🚫
We’ve always done it this way.
This is a safe bet.
Let go and let God.
He has plans to make you prosper.
Opinionated
We believe in truth, we are aware of truth, and we speak from truth. We are confident and authoritative but we do not bully or cross the line into “know-it-all.”
Say this ✅
There is a purpose and order to the cosmos.
There is no “good” without the divine.
The future is certain.
Pluto is a planet.
Not this 🚫
To each their own.
You do you.
Feelings are reality. 🤮
Masculine
Most churches end up slowly swinging toward the feminine in how they connect and communicate, but there is solid research that indicates this eventually leads to church collapse. Be direct, concrete, and challenge the audience to live out their calling.
Say this ✅
Following isn’t always easy but it’s ultimately rewarding.
Take up your cross and follow God.
Not this 🚫
How following Jesus warms the heart.
03 Logo
CCEH’s core logo is the ancient Christian symbol that represents God amidst creation. The center circle is earth, the center circle is the raqia, and the outer is heaven. It expresses the “already-but-not-yet-fully” role of the follower of God within the divine bureaucracy.
04 Color
Preferred colors are vibrant and representative of cosmic phenomena like the evening sky, borealis, and the like.

07 Audio
Music
Choose music that eschews the usual CCM or worship genres. It is not necessary to choose Christian bands but they are preferred when available. Lean toward electric/synth over acoustic, particularly synthwave as it’s resurgent, fun, exceedingly rare in churches, and bridges retro and modern in a way that’s expressive of the church… especially CCEH… as a timeless entity that evolves to impact new generations
